Die Kaptein van YHWH se Leër | The Captain of YHWH's Army

Daniel 12:1, 10
[1]  “Now at that time Miḵa’ĕl shall stand up, the great head who is standing over the sons of your people. And there shall be a time of distress, such as never was since there was a nation, until that time. And at that time your people shall be delivered, every one who is found written in the book, […] “Many shall be cleansed and made white, and refined. But the wrong shall do wrong – and none of the wrong shall understand, but those who have insight shall understand.

Joshua 5:9-15
[9]  And יהוה said to Yehoshua, “Today I have rolled away the reproach of Mitsrayim from you.” So the name of the place is called Gilgal to this day.
[10]  And the children of Yisra’ĕl camped in Gilgal, and performed the Passover on the fourteenth day of the month at evening on the desert plains of Yeriḥo.
[11]  And they ate of the stored grain of the land on the morrow after the Passover, unleavened bread and roasted grain on this same day.
[12]  And the manna ceased on the day after they had eaten the stored grain of the land. And the children of Yisra’ĕl no longer had manna, but they ate the food of the land of Kenaʽan that year.
[13]  And it came to be, when Yehoshua was by Yeriḥo, that he lifted his eyes and looked and saw a Man standing opposite him with His sword drawn in His hand. And Yehoshua went to Him and said to Him, “Are You for us or for our adversaries?”
[14]  And He said, “No, for I have now come as Captain of the host of יהוה.” And Yehoshua fell on his face to the earth and did obeisance, and said to Him, “What is my Master saying to His servant?”
[15]  And the Captain of the host of יהוה said to Yehoshua, “Take your sandal off your foot, for the place where you stand is set-apart.” And Yehoshua did so.

Divine Decree concerning the South Land: Speech Six of Seven

under the BANNER of Yahweh, He speaks to this nation in the south land. A Divine Decree to follow after the slaying of the deceitful, the liars, the wrong doers and the wicked, who are even now among His people in the south and also scattered around the globe. SPEECH SIX of SEVEN:

Isaiah 42:1-25
[1]  “See, My Servant whom I uphold, My Chosen One My being has delighted in! I have put My Spirit upon Him; He brings forth right-ruling to the nations.
[2]  “He does not cry out, nor lifts up His voice, nor causes His voice to be heard in the street.
[3]  “A crushed reed He does not break, and smoking flax He does not quench. He brings forth right-ruling in accordance with truth.
[4]  “He does not become weak or crushed, until He has established right-ruling in the earth. And the coastlands wait for His Torah.”
[5]  Thus said the Ěl, יהוה, who created the heavens and stretched them out, who spread forth the earth and that which comes from it, who gives breath to the people on it, and spirit to those who walk on it:
[6]  “I, יהוה, have called You in righteousness, and I take hold of Your hand and guard You, and give You for a covenant to a people, for a light to the gentiles,
[7]  to open blind eyes, to bring out prisoners from the prison, those who sit in darkness from the prison house.
[8]  “I am יהוה, that is My Name, and My esteem I do not give to another, nor My praise to idols.
[9]  “See, the former predictions have come, and new ones I am declaring; before they spring forth I let you hear them.”
[10]  Sing to יהוה a new song; His praise from the ends of the earth, you who go down to the sea, and all that is in it, you coastlands and you inhabitants of them!
[11]  Let the wilderness and its cities lift up their voice, the villages where Qĕḏar dwells. Let the inhabitants of Sela sing, let them shout from the top of the mountains.
[12]  Let them give esteem to יהוה, and declare His praise in the coastlands.
[13]  יהוה goes forth like a mighty man. He stirs up ardour like a fighter. He cries out, yea, shout aloud. Over His enemies He shows Himself mighty.
[14]  “I have kept silent from of old, I have been still and held Myself back. Like a woman in labour I now cry out, I pant and gasp at once.
[15]  “I lay waste mountains and hills, and I dry up all their plants. And I shall make rivers become coastlands, and I dry up pools.
[16]  “And I shall lead the blind by a way they have not known – in paths they have not known I lead them. I make darkness light before them, and crooked places straight. These matters I shall do for them, and I shall not forsake them.
[17]  “Those who trust in idols, who say to the moulded images, ‘You are our mighty ones,’ shall be turned back, utterly ashamed.
[18]  “Hear, you deaf! And look, you blind, and see.
[19]  “Who is blind but My servant, or deaf as My messenger whom I send? Who is blind as he who is at peace, and blind as servant of יהוה?
[20]  “You see much, but do not observe; ears are open, but do not hear.”
[21]  It has delighted יהוה, for the sake of His righteousness, to make the Torah great and esteemed.
[22]  But this is a people robbed and plundered, all of them are snared in holes, and they are hidden in prison houses. They have become a prey, with no one to deliver – for plunder, and no one to say, “Restore!”
[23]  Who among you gives ear to this, pays attention and hears for the time to come?
[24]  Who gave Yaʽaqoḇ for plunder, and Yisra’ĕl to the robbers? Was it not יהוה, He against whom we sinned? For they would not walk in His ways, and they did not obey His Torah!
[25]  So He has poured on him His burning displeasure and the strength of battle, and it set him on fire all around, yet he did not understand. And it burned against him, yet he did not take it to heart!

Jeremiah 42:1-22
[1]  Then all the commanders of the army, and Yoḥanan son of Qarĕaḥ, and Yezanyah son of Hoshayah, and all the people, from the least to the greatest, came near
[2]  and said to Yirmeyahu the prophet, “We beg you, let our petition be acceptable to you, and pray for us to יהוה your Elohim, for all this remnant, for we are few left of many, as your eyes see us.
[3]  “And let יהוה your Elohim show us the way in which we should walk and the word we should do.”
[4]  And Yirmeyahu the prophet said to them, “I have heard. See, I am praying to יהוה your Elohim according to your words, and it shall be that I declare to you all the word יהוה answers you. I withhold not a word from you.”
[5]  And they said to Yirmeyahu, “Let יהוה be a true and steadfast witness between us, if we do not do according to all the word which יהוה your Elohim sends us by you.
[6]  “Whether good or evil, let us obey the voice of יהוה our Elohim to whom we send you, in order that it might be well with us when we obey the voice of יהוה our Elohim.”
[7]  And after ten days it came to be that the word of יהוה came to Yirmeyahu.
[8]  So he called Yoḥanan son of Qarĕaḥ, and all the commanders of the army which were with him, and all the people from the least even to the greatest,
[9]  and said to them, “Thus said יהוה, the Elohim of Yisra’ĕl, to whom you sent me to present your petition before Him,
[10]  ‘If you would indeed stay in this land, then I shall build you and not pull you down, and I shall plant you and not pluck you up. For I have relented of the evil I have done to you.
[11]  ‘Do not be afraid of the sovereign of Baḇel, of whom you are afraid. Do not be afraid of him,’ declares יהוה, ‘for I am with you, to save you and deliver you from his hand.
[12]  ‘And I shall show you compassion, so that he has compassion on you and let you return to your own land.’
[13]  “But if you say, ‘We are not staying in this land,’ and so disobey the voice of יהוה your Elohim,
[14]  saying, ‘No, but we are going to the land of Mitsrayim so that we see no fighting, nor hear the sound of the ram’s horn, nor hunger for bread, and there we shall stay,’
[15]  then hear the word of יהוה, O remnant of Yehuḏah! Thus said יהוה of hosts, the Elohim of Yisra’ĕl, ‘If you indeed set your faces to enter Mitsrayim, and shall go to sojourn there,
[16]  then it shall be that the sword which you feared overtakes you there in the land of Mitsrayim, and the scarcity of food of which you were afraid clings to you there in Mitsrayim, and you die there.
[17]  ‘And so it shall be with all the men who set their faces to go to Mitsrayim to sojourn there: they shall die by the sword, by scarcity of food, and by pestilence, and not one of them shall survive or escape from the evil I am bringing upon them.’
[18]  “For thus said יהוה of hosts, the Elohim of Yisra’ĕl, ‘As My displeasure and My wrath have been poured out on the inhabitants of Yerushalayim, so shall My wrath be poured out on you when you enter Mitsrayim. And you shall be an oath, and an astonishment, and a curse, and a reproach, and you shall see this place no more.’
[19]  יהוה has spoken about you, O remnant of Yehuḏah, ‘Do not go to Mitsrayim!’ Know for certain that I have warned you this day.
[20]  “For you deceived yourselves when you sent me to יהוה your Elohim, saying, ‘Pray for us to יהוה our Elohim, and according to all that יהוה your Elohim says, so declare to us and we shall do it.’
[21]  “So I have declared it to you today, but you have not obeyed the voice of יהוה your Elohim in all which He has sent me to you.
[22]  “And now, know for certain that you shall die by the sword, by scarcity of food, and by pestilence in the place where you have desired to go to sojourn.”

Divine Decree concerning the South Land: Speech Five of Seven

under the BANNER of Yahweh, He speaks to this nation in the south land. A Divine Decree to follow after the slaying of the deceitful, the liars, the wrong doers and the wicked, who are even now among His people in the south and also scattered around the globe. SPEECH FIVE of SEVEN:

Ephesians 4:13-24
[13]  until we all come to the unity of the belief and of the knowledge of the Son of Elohim, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the completeness of Messiah,
[14]  so that we should no longer be children, tossed and borne about by every wind of teaching, by the trickery of men, in cleverness, unto the craftiness of leading astray,1 Footnote: 15:6, also 2 Cor. 10:5, 2 Cor. 11:3-14, Gal. 1:6-9, 2 Tim. 3:1-8, 2 Tim. 4:2-4, 2 Peter 2:2-22, Jud. vv. 10-19.
[15]  but, maintaining the truth in love, we grow up in all respects into Him who is the head, Messiah,
[16]  from whom the entire body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the working by which each part does its share, causes growth of the body for the building up of itself in love.
[17]  So this I say, and witness in the Master, that you should no longer walk as the gentiles walk,1 in the futility of their mind, Footnote: 11 Cor. 12:2, and Jer. 10:2.
[18]  having been darkened in their understanding, having been estranged from the life of Elohim, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the hardness of their heart,
[19]  who, having become callous, have given themselves up to indecency, to work all uncleanness with greediness.
[20]  But you have not so learned Messiah,
[21]  if indeed you have heard Him and were taught by Him, as truth is in יהושע:
[22]  that you put off – with regard to your former way of life – the old man, being corrupted according to the desires of the deceit,
[23]  and to be renewed in the spirit of your mind,

[24]  and that you put on the renewed man1 which was created according to Elohim, in righteousness and set-apartness of the truth. Footnote: 1Rom. 8:1.

Efésiërs 4:13-24
[13]  totdat ons almal kom tot die eenheid van die geloof en van die kennis van die Seun van Elohym, tot ‘n volwasse man, tot die mate van die volle grootte van Messías;
[14]  sodat ons nie meer kinders sou wees nie wat soos golwe geslinger en heen en weer gedryf word deur elke wind van lering, deur die bedrieëry van die mense, deur sluheid om listiglik tot dwaling te bring;
[18]  mense wat verduisterd is in die verstand en vervreemd van die lewe van Elohym deur die onkunde wat in hulle is vanweë die verharding van hulle hart;

'n Smeek Gebed Gerig Aan Jahweh Eloah

Psalms 17:1-15
[1]  Jahweh Eloah, hoor ‘n regverdige saak, let op my smeking; luister tog na my gebed met onbedrieglike lippe.
[2]  Laat my reg van U aangesig uitgaan; laat U oë regverdig sien.
[6]  Ek roep U aan, want U verhoor my, o Jahweh! Neig U oor tot my, luister na my woord!
[8]  Bewaar my soos ‘n oogappel; verberg my in die skaduwee van U vleuels
[9]  teen die goddelose wat my geweld aandoen, my doodsvyande wat my omring.
[13]  Staan op, Jahweh, gaan hom tegemoet, werp hom neer; red my van die goddelose met U swaard;

Divine Decree concerning the South Land: Speech Four of Seven

under the BANNER of Yahweh, He speaks to this nation in the south land. A Divine Decree to follow after the slaying of the deceitful, the liars, the wrong doers and the wicked, who are even now among His people in the south and also scattered around the globe. SPEECH FOUR of SEVEN:

Deuteronomy 16:13-22
[13]  “Perform the Festival of Booths for seven days after the ingathering from your threshing-floor and from your winepress,
[14]  and you shall rejoice in your festival, you and your son and your daughter, and your male servant and your female servant, and the Lĕwite, and the stranger and the fatherless and the widow who are within your gates.
[15]  “For seven days you shall observe a festival to יהוה your Elohim in the place which יהוה chooses, because יהוה your Elohim does bless you in all your increase and in all the work of your hands, and you shall be only rejoicing!
[16]  “Three times a year all your males appear before יהוה your Elohim in the place which He chooses: at the Festival of Unleavened Bread, and at the Festival of Weeks, and at the Festival of Booths. And none should appear before יהוה empty-handed,
[17]  but each one with the gift of his hand, according to the blessing of יהוה your Elohim which He has given you.
[18]  “Appoint judges and officers within all your gates, which יהוה your Elohim is giving you, according to your tribes. And they shall judge the people with righteous right-ruling.
[19]  “Do not distort right-ruling. Do not show partiality, nor take a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and twists the words of the righteous.
[20]  “Follow righteousness, righteousness alone, so that you live and inherit the land which יהוה your Elohim is giving you.
[21]  “Do not plant for yourself any tree as an Ashĕrah near the altar of יהוה your Elohim that you make for yourself.
[22]  “And do not set up a pillar, which יהוה your Elohim hates.

[16]  Drie maal in die jaar moet al jou manne voor die aangesig van Jahweh jou Eloah verskyn op die plek wat Hy sal uitkies; op die fees van die ongesuurde brode en op die fees van die weke en op die huttefees; en hulle mag nie met leë hande voor die aangesig van Jahweh verskyn nie;

Divine Decree concerning the South Land: Speech Three of Seven

under the BANNER of Yahweh, He speaks to this nation in the south land. A Divine Decree to follow after the slaying of the deceitful, the liars, the wrong doers and the wicked, who are even now among His people in the south and also scattered around the globe. SPEECH THREE of SEVEN:

Hosea 14:1-9
[1] O Yisra’ĕl, return to יהוה your Elohim, for you have stumbled by your crookedness.

[2] Take words with you, and return to יהוה. Say to Him, “Take away all crookedness, and accept what is good, and we render the bulls of our lips1. Footnote: 1Heb. 13:15 - bulls, referring to offerings.

[3] “Ashshur does not save us. We do not ride on horses, nor ever again do we say to the work of our hands, ‘Our mighty ones.’ For the fatherless finds compassion in You.”
[4] “I shall heal their backsliding, I shall love them spontaneously, for My displeasure has turned away from him.
[5] “I shall be like the dew to Yisra’ĕl. He shall blossom like the lily, and cast out his roots like Leḇanon.

[6] “His branches shall spread, and his splendour shall be like an olive tree, and his fragrance like Leḇanon.

[7] “Those who dwell under his shadow shall return. They shall revive like grain, and blossom like the vine, and become as fragrant as the wine of Leḇanon.

[8] “What more has Ephrayim to do with idols? It is I who answer and look after him. I am like a green cypress tree, your fruit comes from Me.”
[9] Who is wise and understands these words, discerning and knows them? For the ways of יהוה are straight, and the righteous walk in them, but the transgressors stumble in them.

Die Trooster | The Comforter

Jesaja 61:1-11
[1]  Die Gees van Jahweh Eloah is op My, omdat Jahweh Eloah My gesalf het om ‘n blye boodskap te bring aan die ootmoediges; Hy het My gestuur om te verbind die gebrokenes van hart, om vir die gevangenes ‘n vrylating uit te roep en vir die geboeides opening van die gevangenis;
[2]  om uit te roep ‘n jaar van die welbehae van Jahweh en ‘n dag van die wraak van onse Eloah; om al die treurendes te troos;

Isaiah 61:1-11
[1] The Spirit of the Master יהוה is upon Me, because יהוה has anointed Me to bring good news to the meek. He has sent Me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim release to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are
bound,
[2] to proclaim the acceptable year of יהוה, and the day of vengeance of our Elohim, to comfort all who mourn,
[3] to appoint unto those who mourn in Tsiyon: to give them embellishment for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. And they shall be called trees of righteousness, a planting of יהוה, to be adorned.
[4] And they shall rebuild the old ruins, raise up the former wastes. And they shall restore the ruined cities, the wastes of many generations.
[5] And strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, and the sons of the foreigner be your ploughmen and your vinedressers.
[6] But you shall be called, ‘Priests of יהוה,’ ‘Servants of our Elohim’ shall be said of you. You shall consume the strength of the gentiles, and boast in their esteem.
[7] Instead of your shame and reproach, they rejoice a second time in their portion. Therefore they take possession a second time in their land, everlasting joy is theirs.
[8] “For I, יהוה, love right-ruling; I hate robbery for burnt offering. And I shall give their reward in truth, and make an everlasting covenant with them.
[9] “And their seed shall be known among the gentiles, and their offspring in the midst of the peoples. All who see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the seed יהוה has blessed.”
[10] I greatly rejoice in יהוה, my being exults in my Elohim. For He has put garments of deliverance on me, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
[11] For as the earth brings forth its bud, as the garden causes the seed to shoot up, so the Master יהוה causes righteousness and praise to shoot up before all the nations!
